Resolving Loading or Performance Issues in Maestro

Resolving Loading or Performance Issues in Maestro

Issue Summary

Users may occasionally experience loading issues, errors, or frozen screens while using Maestro. This is typically caused by corrupted browser cache or conflicting browser extensions.

Follow the troubleshooting steps below to resolve the issue.

Solution 1: Use an Incognito/Private Window

The quickest way to determine if a browser extension or cache is causing the issue is to bypass them entirely.

  1. Open your browser.

  2. Open a new Incognito (Chrome) or InPrivate (Edge) window.

    • Shortcut: CTRL + SHIFT + N (Windows) or CMD + SHIFT + N (Mac).

  3. Log into Maestro and check if the issue persists.

If Maestro works normally in an incognito window, proceed to Solution 2 to fix your normal browser view.

Solution 2: Clear Your Browser Cache and Cookies

If the issue is caused by outdated files stored by your browser, clearing your cache will force the browser to load the latest version of Maestro.

  1. While in your browser, press CTRL + SHIFT + DEL on your keyboard (or CMD + SHIFT + DEL on a Mac).

  2. A settings window will appear (see screenshot below).

  3. Set the time range to All Time.

  4. Ensure both Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files are checked.

  5. Click Clear data.
